The Type 1055 floor connector provides a unique retrofit solution enabling solid steel plate flooring to be installed over the top of existing open-mesh or open-grid flooring. Installation is carried out quickly and safely from above eliminating the need for costly scaffolding or elevated floors. As only simple hand tools are used to install the connectors, welding and hot works permits are not required. The high quality stainless steel castings and unique design provides outstanding clamping force and a secure connection.
