Lindapter has methodically assessed the business landscape around environmental impact and carbon reduction and reporting, implementing improvements wherever appropriate and feasible. We operate within ISO 9001 and 14001:2015, with ethical business practices grounded in integrity and transparency across our people and our financial accounting. In a constantly changing world, our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices, along with our sustainability program, continue to evolve.
Waste: Lindapter has sent zero waste to landfill since 2014 and continues to recycle and reuse a large percentage of both supplier and internal packaging materials. In FY2025, our reuse and recycling rate was 95.9%. We use Valpak to certify our Producer Responsibility Obligations.
Carbon Footprint Reduction: To move Lindapter's ESG practices forward, we've invested in building infrastructure over the past seven years. LED lighting has been retrofitted across the site, and gas powered hot water and inefficient office heating have been replaced with electric powered climate control technology (certified renewable electricity). Remaining gas installations run on certified carbon neutral gas, with warehouse heating alternatives under evaluation as viable technologies mature.
We've also made significant investment to modernize our electrical installation, addressing fire and safety considerations while enabling more accurate energy measurement for production. This will support future carbon reporting, including Product Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and CBAM compliance, delivering more precise carbon reporting as we grow and as accountability and transparency become regulatory requirements.
In 2026, Lindapter is launching the first phase of its Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) program, starting with the popular Hollo-Bolt product range. The project is a collaboration with JRP Solutions and will strengthen Lindapter's understanding and practices across the ESG spectrum. 2026 will also bring a major investment in a new ERP system to optimize operational efficiency company wide.
Greenhouse Gas Emissions - We recognize that manufacturing metal products can be energy intensive. That's why our R&D team uses 3D modeling software, FEA, and 3D printing during product development, reducing waste in manufacturing while saving time and energy in the development process. Prototypes historically made from steel or cast iron are now 3D printed first using recycled PLA (polylactic acid), typically derived from renewable plant based sources. Any PLA waste generated is collected and returned to the manufacturer for recycling and reuse. Finished products removed from installation sites are also recyclable and should not enter general waste streams, since they remain a valuable commodity.
As part of our Annual Goals and Objectives program for each department head, we've set targets to reduce energy usage and strengthen the credentials of our operations and products. Regular health and safety training, a solid reporting system, fair and equal pay, and equal opportunity are all standard practice, keeping our culture strong and continuously improving.
Responsible Supply Chain Partnerships - We work closely with our supply chain partners to understand where they stand in their own ESG journeys. We also responsibly source FSC certified materials for our packaging, adding to the recyclability of most of the products and packaging we use. As part of our sustainability initiatives, we've switched to paper tape that can be recycled alongside cardboard and have fully transitioned to cardboard packaging, cutting our plastic usage from 3 tons to 500 kilograms over the past three years.
Lindapter specializes in developing fixing solutions backed by a highly skilled technical support team with a long track record of designing, developing, and manufacturing custom solutions. Our products eliminate the need for welding, reducing the energy consumption and emissions of the entire welding process from prep to finish, while also removing the performance variability inherent in welding. Labor savings mean production areas don't need to shut down for cutting or welding, further offsetting the energy typically used in manufacturing metal castings or comparable products.
Lindapter will continue to develop responsibly, first meeting regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards around health and safety, accounting integrity, transparency, and related compliance obligations. We're building emissions reduction strategies, carbon reduction, and other ESG practices directly into normal business operations, sharing information and best practices with our business partners as we go. Despite rising cost pressures, we continue to refine our ESG response and sustainability strategy in a measured, responsible way.
