Stainless steel, self-adjusting girder clamp used to quickly connect steel beams with flat or tapered flanges and resist moderate tensile loading. Provides excellent corrosion resistance.
The Type LS girder clamp is used to achieve a fast connection between two steel beams or other steel sections where moderate load capacities are present. Manufactured from high strength cast stainless steel grade 316 to provide excellent corrosion resistance. The clamp also self-adjusts to suit flange thicknesses between 1⁄8" and 13⁄16". Suitable for use on parallel and tapered flanges up to 10°.

Location & End Plates
Location plates are required when securing two sections together with clamps attached to the upper and lower sections with both clamps directly opposing each other. The plate is positioned between the two sections to hold the bolts at the correct centers and should be fabricated to the dimensions shown in the datasheet.
End Plates should be used when clamps are attached to the supporting section only. The End Plate holds the bolts at the correct centers and should be fabricated to the dimensions shown in the datasheet.
