Lindapter Fire-Resistance Rating of Hollo-Bolts.

Independent fire test data shows that a Hollo-Bolt performs in a similar way to an A325 bolt.

As part of our continued commitment and investment in product development and testing Lindapter commissioned the Building Research Establishment (BRE) to independently fire test Lindapter Hollo-Bolts.

Lindapter commissioned BRE Global Ltd (UKAS 0578) to assess the performance of carbon steel Hexagonal Head Hollo-Bolts in both tension and shear, during 120 minutes of standard fire exposure consistent with ASTM E-119. The results of the independent testing concluded that the Lindapter Hollo-Bolt will continue to perform a given structural function under fire conditions for 120 minutes, F(120). The additional fire-resistance load data is available on request by emailing support@lindapter.com

What is Fire-Resistance Rating?
In accordance with the International Building Code, the fire-resistance rating is the duration during which a building element, component, or assembly retains its capacity to carry out a specific structural role, as established through testing or methods derived from tests. See the International Building Code, Sections 202 and 703 for additional information.
