The American Helicopter Museum

Sectors: Structural Engineering / Material Handling
Applications: Lindapter Lifting points suspending helicopter display

Summary:

Lindapter steelwork fixings were recently supplied to The American Helicopter Museum for the suspension of an Enstrom F28A Helicopter. The helicopter was suspended using a single lifting point fitted with an eye bolt. The helicopter weighed in at over 700kgs; well within the capability of the Lindapter assembly.

This project demonstrates the extensive range of applications in which Lindapter connections are used. Lindapter’s lifting solutions have also been specified in arenas and theatres in lighting and sound rigging applications and in sports facilities to suspend punch bags and secure temporary seating. The benefits of an adjustable, high capacity and easy to remove connection system are transferable to an array of industries beyond Construction and Structural Engineering.
